Vision and Mission – Veterinary Medicine

VISION

To produce highly competent veterinarians who can practice veterinary medicine both in the private sector and in government services in Nigeria and in any other country; Graduates who would use veterinary medicine to alleviate animal suffering, improve animal production for food and for enhancement of national economy.

MISSION

To teach students introductory veterinary medicine;  etiology, clinical signs, diagnoses, treatment, prevention and  control of diseases  of  Companion animals,  Aquatic food animals Terrestrial  food animals, zoological animals/Game reserves-animals, Laboratory animals (experimental medicine) and Emerging food animals (micro-livestock).
